Is it free to search for jobs?
Yes, completely. Browsing jobs and setting up job alerts on OT Jobs Australia is always free for job seekers.
How do I get notified about new jobs?
You can set up job alerts by entering your email address on the homepage. You will receive notifications when new roles matching your preferences are listed.
How current are the listings?
All listings are active for 30 days. Once a listing expires it is removed, so what you see on the board is current.
Can I apply directly through the board?
Yes. Each listing has a direct apply button so you can apply without having to message anyone publicly or track down contact details separately.
Can employers see my profile?
Employers who have an active listing on OT Jobs Australia can view job seeker profiles and contact you directly, even if you haven't applied for their role. Your profile is only visible to employers if you have "Available for work" ticked at the bottom of your profile page. If you would prefer not to be visible, simply untick it. You can also ask us to delete your profile at any time by contacting us through the Contact page.
Is this only for qualified OTs?
The board is primarily focused on Occupational Therapy roles for qualified OTs. We also list roles under Related Health Professions, which may include positions for physiotherapists, speech pathologists, psychologists, social workers and allied health assistants.
Can I still post in the OT Jobs Australia Facebook group?
Yes. The OT Jobs Australia Facebook group continues as a place for community discussion, peer support and career conversations. Job advertisements have moved to this board.
Why can't I post a job ad in the Facebook group anymore?
From 1 September 2026, job advertisements moved from the OT Jobs Australia Facebook group to this dedicated job board. This gives your listing 30 days of visibility and makes it searchable by location, role type and setting, rather than disappearing down the Facebook feed within hours.

How much does it cost to post a job?
A Standard listing is $49 for 30 days. There are no subscriptions, lock-in contracts or hidden fees.
Who will see my listing?
OT Jobs Australia is promoted directly to a community of Australian Occupational Therapists. Your listing will also be indexed by Google, increasing your reach beyond the immediate community.
Can I search for candidate profiles?
Yes. When you post a listing on OT Jobs Australia you get 30 days of access to job seeker profiles. You can browse profiles and contact candidates directly by email or LinkedIn, even if they haven't applied for your role. Candidates must have their "Available for work" setting switched on for their profile to be visible to you.
How long does my listing stay up?
All listings run for 30 days from the date of posting.
Can I edit my listing after posting?
Please contact us via the Contact page if you need to make changes to a live listing.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
How do I post a candidate available listing?
Post under the category "Seeking Work — Candidates Available."
