As our Occupational Therapy team continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Clinical Occupational Therapy Supervisor to provide clinical supervision and professional support to our OT team on a flexible contractor basis.

About the role

This role is ideal for a highly experienced Occupational Therapist who enjoys clinical supervision, mentoring and developing other clinicians, without wanting the responsibilities of a traditional management position.

As our Clinical OT Supervisor, you will provide structured clinical supervision to Occupational Therapists across varying levels of experience, supporting clinical reasoning, professional development and high-quality practice.

The role is offered on a contractor basis with flexible hours and can primarily be delivered remotely, making it suitable for an experienced OT looking to complement an existing clinical, consulting or leadership role.

This is a clinical supervision role rather than a people management position. Your focus will be on developing clinicians, strengthening clinical reasoning and supporting safe, evidence-based practice.

What you'll be doing

Depending on the needs of the team, your role may include:

• Providing regular individual and/or group clinical supervision to Occupational Therapists.
• Supporting clinicians with complex cases, clinical reasoning and decision-making.
• Providing guidance regarding assessment selection, interpretation and recommendations.
• Supporting best practice across Functional Capacity Assessments, therapy, Assistive Technology, home and living assessments and other OT services.
• Reviewing complex clinical reports and providing constructive feedback where required.
• Supporting clinicians to strengthen report writing, clinical justification and evidence-based recommendations.
• Assisting clinicians to identify and manage clinical risk, safeguarding concerns and matters outside their scope of practice.
• Supporting reflective practice and the development of clinician confidence and capability.
• Providing guidance regarding professional standards, ethical practice and scope of practice.
• Identifying common clinical development needs and contributing to discipline-specific professional development.
• Supporting the development and review of OT clinical resources, templates and practice guidance where appropriate.
• Working collaboratively with ELEV8's leadership team where broader clinical quality or development opportunities are identified.
  We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist with strong clinical capability and a genuine interest in supporting the development of other clinicians.

You will ideally have:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• At least 7+ years' post-graduate Occupational Therapy experience.
• Significant experience within the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors.
• Strong experience with complex functional assessments and clinical report writing.
• Experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring or professional development to Occupational Therapists.
• Strong clinical reasoning and an evidence-based approach to practice.
• Confidence supporting clinicians working with complex presentations.
• Excellent understanding of professional boundaries, scope of practice, clinical risk and ethical decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to provide constructive, practical and supportive clinical feedback.
• A collaborative and approachable supervision style.
• Experience in senior clinical, clinical lead or professional supervision roles will be highly regarded.
