Symbolic Recruitment is currently recruiting an Occupational Therapist for a permanent hospital-based position in Western Sydney, working with adult and aged care patients.

The good news? You don't need years of experience to be considered.

Our client welcomes applications from newly qualified Occupational Therapists, candidates with as little as six months of aged care exposure, and experienced OTs looking for their next career opportunity.

If you're passionate about helping people regain independence, improve their mobility and safely manage everyday activities, this could be a great next step in your OT career.

About the Role

This position focuses on supporting adult and older patients with their rehabilitation, functional independence and ongoing care needs.

Key areas of practice include:

• Occupational therapy assessments and rehabilitation
• Functional assessments and activities of daily living
• Falls prevention and risk management
• Home modifications and equipment recommendations
• Reablement and strategies to improve independence
• Supporting patients to achieve practical, meaningful outcomes

Who We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from:

• New graduate Occupational Therapists ready to begin their professional career
• Early-career OTs with six months or more exposure to aged care
• Experienced Occupational Therapists with an interest in adult rehabilitation or aged care

Ideally, you'll bring:

• A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration
• An interest in working with adults and older patients
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient-centred approach to care
• A willingness to learn, develop and contribute to positive patient outcomes
