Yesability is seeking passionate Occupational Therapists to join our growing Allied Health team in Esperance, Geraldton and Kalgoorlie.

As demand for occupational therapy services continues to grow across regional Western Australia, we are expanding our local workforce to improve access to high-quality support within local communities.

In Geraldton and Kalgoorlie, you will become Yesability's first locally based Occupational Therapist, joining established local teams and offices that currently include Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners. You will support an established and growing caseload while receiving ongoing supervision, mentoring and clinical support from our experienced Perth-based Occupational Therapy team.

In Esperance, this is a unique opportunity to become Yesability's first locally based clinician. We currently provide Occupational Therapy and Positive Behaviour Support services through visiting Perth-based clinicians and are now looking to establish a local presence to meet growing demand in the region.

Across all locations, you'll enjoy the autonomy of regional practice while remaining connected to a supportive and collaborative Allied Health team.

In this role, you will work across a diverse NDIS caseload, supporting children, adolescents and adults through assessment, intervention, assistive technology, home modifications and capacity-building support to help them achieve their goals, maximise independence and improve participation in everyday life.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify participants' strengths, functional abilities, support needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans that promote independence, participation and quality of life.
  • Deliver individualised therapy services in participants' homes, schools, workplaces and community settings.
  • Complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs), Assistive Technology assessments and recommendations, and Home Modification assessments.
  • Collaborate with participants, families, support coordinators and other stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, professional development and quality improvement activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working within disability, community, rehabilitation or related practice settings is desirable.
  • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to a broader clinical team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping people achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable with comprehensive car insurance.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
