As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our leadership team as our Service Excellence Lead – Occupational Therapy.

About the role

This is an opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist who enjoys developing others, improving clinical practice and shaping how high-quality allied health services are delivered.

The Service Excellence Lead – OT will provide clinical leadership and professional support to our Occupational Therapy team while helping drive quality, consistency and continuous improvement across ELEV8 Wellness & Health.

This is not a full-time clinical caseload role. You will have dedicated leadership and service excellence responsibilities alongside a reduced caseload, allowing you to remain connected to clinical practice while having the time to support our team.

You will work closely with the broader leadership team to strengthen clinical governance, develop our clinicians and ensure our services continue to meet both professional and organisational standards.

What you'll be doing

Your role will include:

• Providing clinical leadership, mentoring and discipline-specific support to Occupational Therapists across the organisation.
• Supporting clinicians with complex cases, clinical reasoning, assessment selection, recommendations and intervention planning.
• Conducting regular clinical supervision, case reviews and opportunities for reflective practice.
• Reviewing clinical documentation and reports and providing constructive feedback to support quality and consistency.
• Supporting clinicians to deliver high-quality Functional Capacity Assessments, therapy, Assistive Technology, home and living assessments and other OT services within their scope of practice.
• Monitoring service quality, documentation standards, clinical outcomes and key service delivery timeframes.
• Supporting clinicians to develop meaningful, measurable therapy plans linked to participant goals and functional outcomes.
• Identifying opportunities for professional development and coordinating discipline-specific learning.
• Contributing to clinical policies, procedures, templates, resources and practice guidelines.
• Supporting onboarding and clinical development of new Occupational Therapists.
• Working collaboratively with other discipline leads and the leadership team to strengthen multidisciplinary practice.
• Contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management and safeguarding processes.
• Supporting service development and identifying opportunities to continually improve the experience of both our clients and clinicians.
• Maintaining a small clinical caseload appropriate to your experience and areas of interest.

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who combines strong clinical capability with a genuine interest in developing people and improving services.

You will ideally have:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 4 years' post-graduate Occupational Therapy experience, with senior or leadership experience highly regarded.
• Strong experience within the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors.
• Demonstrated experience completing and/or reviewing complex functional assessments and clinical reports.
• Strong clinical reasoning and an evidence-based approach to practice.
• Experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring or supporting the development of other Occupational Therapists.
• A sound understanding of clinical governance, professional standards, risk and quality.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• Confidence providing constructive feedback and supporting clinicians to improve their practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build a positive, supportive and accountable team culture.
• A collaborative leadership style and willingness to contribute ideas and challenge the status quo.
