What we offer

At RedDoor, we are committed to supporting our employees' wellbeing and professional growth.

  • Competitive negotiable salary including superannuation, housing allowance and other benefits.
  • Relocation assistance to Mount Isa, Qld, if applicable.
  • Motor vehicle provided for work purposes and local personal use.
  • Freedom to organise your work hours and client appointments to optimise your days.
  • Employee benefits, including benevolent charity salary packaging of $15,900+, and an employee assistance program with a unique difference.
  • The opportunity to make a real impact in the local community.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing face-to-face appointments in our clinic, clients’ homes and community settings.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand each client’s needs and developing tailored therapy plans, recommendations and reports.
  • Delivering individualised occupational therapy in ways that genuinely engage clients. That might mean working alongside someone on the job, going fishing, playing basketball, or getting involved in a craft or construction project. We meet clients in their own environments and use their interests and goals to make therapy meaningful.
  • Maintaining quality client records and reports, supported by AI-enabled tools and administration supports to minimise unnecessary desk-based work.
  • Participating in professional development, whilst being paid, with opportunities to aligned your PD with your interests and career goals.
  • Working towards realistic and achievable KPIs that support good clinical practice rather than getting in the way of it.

What we're looking for:

  • Someone with a desire for making a positive difference in the lives of others.
  • Confidence and organisational skills, and ability to self manage, without direct clinical supervision. You will receive great administrative and managerial supports!
  • An adventurous person, looking to experience work and life in NW Qld.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of the community without judgement and the ability to think outside the box with engagement and therapy.
  • Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy, with current AHPRA registration.
  • Demonstrated experience (at least 12 months) in an occupational therapy role, preferably with exposure to delivering NDIS services and associated requirements and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families and other stakeholders.
