Mixed Caseload, NDIS

Neurodivergent-led, an adolescent and adult caseload, and the seniority to shape how the service grows — with your notes and reports written in paid hours.

Shift & Co. is a neurodivergent-led organisation supporting neurodivergent people across Canberra. We generally work with adolescents and adults aged 12+ — through 1:1 OT, functional capacity and sensory assessments, and practical support with everyday life.

The role:
• 1:1 OT focused on executive functioning, routines, daily living, sensory needs and emotional regulation
• Functional capacity and sensory assessments, including AT recommendations and NDIS reporting
• Take on the more complex assessments as the senior clinician in the team
• Help build the OT service — assessment pathways, resources, procedures
• Supervise and develop newer clinicians as the team grows
• Bring an OT lens to team learning and multidisciplinary discussion

What we offer:
• $110,000 – $125,000 + 12% super, depending on experience
• A realistic caseload — notes, planning and supervision happen in paid hours, not your evenings
• Paid non-client time — documentation, planning and resource creation sit inside rostered hours
• Dedicated project time to build or specialise in an area of practice you care about
• Real flexibility: part-time, school hours, compressed weeks, work from home for reporting
• Admin support for scheduling and intake
• PD allowance and paid PD days
• Clinical autonomy — you manage your caseload and recommendations with the independence your experience warrants

What we're looking for:
• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Solid experience with FCAs and NDIS report writing
• Experience with neurodivergent adolescents or adults highly regarded
• Interest in supervision, or willingness to grow into it
• A genuine commitment to neurodiversity-affirming practice
• WWVP registration and NDIS screening, or willingness to obtain
