About the Role
Looking for a meaningful change of scenery — without relocating? This unique part‑time role offers the perfect opportunity to experience regional aged care practice while still living and working in the city. With just 3 days per fortnight, it’s an ideal way to explore rural health, broaden your clinical experience, and enjoy the charm of regional WA at a pace that suits you.
You’ll work across two welcoming communities:
Both locations offer a refreshing break from the metro routine, giving you the chance to enjoy scenic drives, peaceful surroundings and the rewarding experience of supporting residents in regional settings — all while maintaining your home base in the city.
In this role, you’ll partner with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to enhance residents’ physical, emotional and functional wellbeing. You’ll conduct meaningful assessments, shape personalised care plans and deliver targeted OT interventions that support independence, dignity and quality of life. This is a role where your clinical insight, creativity and compassion come together to make a genuine difference.
You’ll support two welcoming BaptistCare communities, each with its own unique strengths. Balladong Gardens offers a close‑knit, familiar environment where staff and residents share strong connections, while Kalkarni provides a vibrant, culturally rich setting with deep ties to the local community. Across both sites, you’ll be part of supportive, collaborative teams who share a commitment to person‑centred care and putting residents at the heart of everything we do.
