Mixed Caseload, Paediatrics

Occupational Therapist — Paediatrics

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 + super Employment type: Full-time or part-time

The Role

Love working with kids? Join our paediatric-only team where you'll help children build the skills they need to thrive in the setting that suits you best: clinic, school, or community.

What Makes This Different

  • Paediatric-only caseload — no need to juggle adult or aged care work
  • Choice of setting — clinic-based, school-based, or community/home visits, tailored to your preference
  • PD allowance provided to support your ongoing development
  • Multi-disciplinary team — work alongside speech pathologists for genuinely collaborative care
  • Admin support included — so you can focus on the kids, not the paperwork
  • Regular debrief sessions and check-ins — dedicated time and space to reflect, process, and stay supported in your work

What You'll Do

Support children with self-care, fine and gross motor skills, emotional and sensory regulation, attention, social and play skills, and daily independence — through individual therapy, child play therapy, animal-assisted therapy, and group programs.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Occupational Therapist (AHPRA)
  • Passion for paediatric work — new graduates and experienced paeds OTs welcome
  • Comfortable working across clinic, school, and/or community settings

Why Join Us

A dedicated paeds team, real flexibility in how and where you work, and genuine investment in your professional growth through PD support.

What's On Offer

  • Full-time or part-time options available to suit your needs
  • Paid 9-day fortnight option available. We believe great clinicians do their best work when they have time to recharge. Enjoy one paid day off every fortnight, while earning your full-time salary
  • Flexible Bonus Scheme — meet your targets and choose the reward that suits you best: $1,000 per term or an additional paid leave day
  • Birthday leave 🥳
  • $1,000 per annum external PD allowance
  • Internal clinical supervision — weekly, fortnightly, or monthly to suit your needs
  • Regular debrief sessions and check-ins to support your wellbeing and sustainable workloads
  • Resource Starter Kit — start with confidence using a curated collection of high-quality therapy resources, developed by a Speech Pathologist, including many of the resources we use every day with children and families
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance provided

About us!

We are a small, close-knit team of Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists who genuinely enjoy working together. We are passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based, neuro-affirming therapy and celebrating every milestone alongside the children and families we support.

As a mobile service, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home between visits while still feeling connected through regular collaborative team discussions, frequent phone check-ins, and termly team social catch-ups. Our Director continues to work as a practising therapist, so the systems, processes, and expectations have been thoughtfully designed with clinicians in mind.

With full administrative support, you'll have the backing you need to focus on what matters most — your clients and your wellbeing. We believe that exceptional therapy starts with supported therapists, which is why we prioritise wellbeing, genuine connection, and sustainable workloads, empowering you to do your best work without burning out.

You Will Have

  • Flexible working hours — choose your availability and start and finish times, and find a pattern of working that works for you
  • A manageable KPI set at an achievable level, with ample time allocated for non-client-facing tasks
  • Frequent opportunities for clinical collaboration and peer support, including regular debriefs and check-ins
  • A close-knit team that genuinely enjoys working together
  • Social catch-ups once per school term
  • Full administrative support
  • Streamlined workflows and systems
  • Resources and templates to reduce paperwork burden
  • Opportunities to explore areas of special interest and develop expertise
  • Opportunities for professional growth and innovation — we welcome clinicians who are excited about innovation and interested in developing and implementing new service models, helping us expand the ways we support children, families, schools, and our community

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is genuinely passionate about working with children, and sharing in their wins
  • Communicates clearly and efficiently, and builds strong, respectful relationships with clients, families, schools, and MDT stakeholders
  • Is passionate about ongoing learning and professional growth to maintain a high standard of care
  • Enjoys working independently while remaining connected to a team
  • Is proactive, organised, and demonstrates initiative
