Help build the future of OT at Pop Family

At Pop Family, we believe every Australian deserves access to exceptional allied health care, no matter where they live. Founded and led by clinicians, every decision we make is shaped by people who genuinely understand what it means to work on the front line of allied health. With 80+ Speech Pathologists already delivering exceptional telehealth care to children and adults across Australia, we’ve built a collaborative, values-driven culture committed to helping both our clients and our clinicians thrive.

This October, we’re bringing that same model to Occupational Therapy for the very first time. We’re launching a brand-new OT service, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic generalist OT to be one of its first clinicians. You’ll be led by an exceptional Senior Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience, 6 of them dedicated to telehealth delivery, so from day one, you’ll be learning from someone who has genuinely mastered this way of working.

You’ll join as an inaugural member of our new OT service, with structured onboarding and close supervision from our Senior OT and clinical leadership team, so you can build your skills and confidence from day one.

Why Pop?

We know that exceptional client outcomes start with excellent clinicians, it’s why we’ve spent years building one of Australia’s most experienced telehealth allied health teams, and why we invest so heavily in the people who make it work. Here, you’ll be supported, challenged and empowered to do your best work.

  • Real clinical support: structured onboarding, regular supervision from a Senior OT, and real-time support whenever you need it.
  • Professional development that grows with you: an annual PD allowance, paid PD leave, a personalised learning plan, and supervision with a relevant Occupational Therapist.
  • Everything you need to succeed: a company laptop, resource box, subscription allowance, home office and data allowance, and dedicated IT support.
  • Paid parental leave: available after 12 months of employment, because family matters.
  • Performance-based bonuses: for clinicians who exceed their clinical targets, on top of a competitive salary.
  • Genuine flexibility: work from home, from anywhere in Australia, while staying connected through team huddles, regular supervision, and in-person social events throughout the year.
  • Admin support: Heidi Health to help you manage your caseload and complete your documentation. Our administration team completes your billing for you!

Everything we do is guided by our values of Excellence, Holistic Care, Courage, Ownership and Providing Value.

About the Role

You’ll manage a varied caseload of both private and NDIS clients, delivered via telehealth, working with children and adults across emotional regulation, sensory processing, feeding therapy and other generalist areas. You’ll have growing exposure to NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments as your skills and confidence develop, guided every step of the way by a Senior OT with two decades of clinical experience and six years specialising in telehealth.

You’ll be closely supported by our senior OT and clinical supervisors as you learn our telehealth model, clinical systems and documentation standards, with regular formal supervision and real-time support whenever you need it.

You’ll work alongside Pop’s existing team, including 80+ Speech Pathologists, to deliver holistic, collaborative care to our clients.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an early-career Occupational Therapist who is eager to learn, values feedback, and is excited to help build a brand-new service.

You’ll thrive at Pop if you:

  • Have post graduate experience in private practice or are keen to move into this area.
  • Are enthusiastic about working with children and/or adults across emotional regulation, sensory processing and feeding therapy and generalist areas of OT.
  • Are curious about (or keen to develop skills in) NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments.
  • Believe in the power of telehealth to improve access to care.
  • Are coachable, reflective and motivated by continuous learning and growth.
  • Are organised, accountable and proactive in managing your caseload.

You’ll Also Need

  • A recognised occupational therapy qualification (degree accredited by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, or an equivalent approved international qualification).
  • Current general registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA), or be eligible for registration.
  • Ability to meet AHPRA’s registration standards on an ongoing basis: continuing professional development, professional indemnity insurance, criminal history check, English language skills and recency of practice.
  • A Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility).
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
  • A current Working With Children Check, valid in your state or territory.
  • Australian working rights.
